An open-source AI model (Real-ESRGAN) enlarges the photo on our server and redraws the edges and texture that ordinary enlarging blurs. Drag to compare it with a plain 4× enlargement of the same small photo.
Choose up to 10 JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF files, drop them on the page or paste one.
The AI model enlarges each image and sharpens its edges and texture, up to 4096 px.
Keep the original format or pick WebP, JPG or PNG, then save one by one or as a ZIP.
| Your image | 2× | 4× |
|---|---|---|
| 640 × 480 | 1280 × 960 | 2560 × 1920 |
| 1024 × 768 | 2048 × 1536 | 4096 × 3072 |
| 1280 × 720 | 2560 × 1440 | 4096 × 2304 |
| 1920 × 1080 | 3840 × 2160 (4K) | 4096 × 2304 |
The result is at most 4096 px on its longest side, so 4× of a bigger image stops at 4096 px. Images up to 2048 px a side and about 2.4 megapixels can be upscaled.
To upscale an image, it is sent to our server over an encrypted connection, enlarged in memory and deleted as soon as the result is sent back. It is never stored, logged or seen by anyone.
It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. You can upscale up to 10 images at a time and 50 an hour.
Up to 4096 px on the longest side. 4× works in full for images up to 1024 px; a bigger image is enlarged as far as 4096 px. 2× of a 1920 × 1080 photo gives 3840 × 2160 (4K).
JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF, up to 2048 px a side and about 2.4 megapixels (1920 × 1080 fits).
It uses Real-ESRGAN, an open-source model trained to sharpen edges and rebuild texture that ordinary enlarging blurs. It can't recover what was never in the photo: tiny faces or text may come out smooth or slightly changed.
Yes. A PNG, WebP or AVIF with a transparent background stays transparent; JPG has no transparency, so the background becomes white.
Yes, each image is sent to our server to be upscaled, processed in memory and deleted at once. Nothing is stored and no one sees it.
A few seconds for a small photo and about 20 seconds for a 1920 × 1080 image. Images are done one after another.
At 300 dpi, 4096 px is about 35 cm (13.7 in) on the long side, enough for an A4 print. At 150 dpi, for a poster seen from further away, it is about 69 cm.
