Product photos that look clean
- Shoot on a plain background. The plainer the background, the cleaner the edges, especially around hair and fur.
- Leave room around the product. A margin keeps the whole object in the cut-out and helps on square marketplace images.
- Use white where the rules ask for it. Many marketplaces want a pure white background for the main photo.
- Make it light before it goes online. A transparent PNG is heavy; WebP or compression keeps the page fast.

Does the result keep the full size?
Yes. The cut-out has the same width and height as your photo, not a small preview.
How do I get a transparent background?
Choose Transparent and save as PNG or WebP. WebP keeps the transparency and is several times lighter.
Can I put the image on a white background?
Yes: choose White, or Colour to pick any background colour.

Are my photos uploaded?

What does it not handle well?
Glass, smoke and very fine detail against a busy background can come out soft or partly cut. Plain backgrounds give the cleanest edges.
